Yacht Club Team Challenge Trophy
|
Golison & Golison would like to invite your yacht club to
field a team(s) for the "Yacht Club Team Challenge Trophy" during North Sails
Race Week.
The "Yacht Club Team Challenge Trophy" will be presented to the team who
has the lowest combined score during North Sails Race Week against the other
teams competing for the trophy.
In addition, a $500 donation will be
made to the winning yacht club's junior program!
The format will be as follows:
* A yacht club may enter up to 3 individual teams. Each team entered is a
separate entity unto itself.
Teams
will consist of four (4) PHRF boats (Buoy PHRF Classes only).
* Each team entering the "Yacht Club Team Challenge Trophy", must enter and
declare its 4 boat team(s) no later then the close of regatta registration on
Friday, June 25 at 1:00 PM. (No substitutions after this date except for an
emergency situation, with the Race Committee's approval.)
* The skipper of each yacht on the team(s) must be a member of the yacht club
they are representing.
* The individual team with the lowest cumulative combined score of its four boat
team shall be the winner. In case of a tie on points, the winner shall be the
team who has the lowest combined score in the final race.
