We invite you to
compete in three days of exciting racing action at the 20th edition of
North Sails Race Week. Throughout the years our goal has
always been to bring you the best regatta possible. We want all
competitors to have a truly memorable experience and are working to ensure
that this year will be no exception.
Long Beach's wonderful sailing conditions have long been a major
attraction to racing owners around the world. It's been the incredible
level of talent, professional race management and intense competition,
combined with our social gatherings ashore, however, which have accounted
for Race Week's reputation.
We are pleased to welcome back long-time sponsors, North Sails
and Nautica Watches. North Sails is the title sponsor and
Nautica Watches is our official timekeeper and day sponsor. We encourage
you to patronize all the companies that support our sport and enable us to
maintain the standards you've come to expect.
Based on feedback from you, our clients, we have scheduled additional
races for the Farr 40's, 1D35's and Schock 35's. We have added Random Leg
classes and Team Challenge Competition for PHRF boats. Details on these
changes are contained in this document.
We are very pleased to be hosting Regional championships for the Farr 40,
Santana 20 and Schock 35 classes.
