"Lydia Kent Memorial Trophy"  -   Family Trophy

Lydia Kent was the wife and mother of one of Long Beach's most prominent sailing families.  The Kent family is a two time class winner of "Race Week".  This was one of their favorite regattas as it gave them the opportunity to bring home the crystal trophies that Mrs. Kent enjoyed so much.  Golison & Golison is proud to donate the "Lydia Kent Memorial Trophy".  It is fitting that this perpetual trophy, given in her memory, is a beautiful crystal bowl awarded for family sailing.

This trophy will be awarded to the highest placing boat with the lowest score, whose skipper sails the series with a minimum of 3 family members including the skipper.  Family members are defined as the immediate family, their spouses and their in-laws.
