SVIC YACHT CLUB CHALLENGE
(3-boat team at North Sails Race Week)
Golison & Golison would like to invite your yacht club to field a team(s) for the SVIC Yacht Club Challenge during North Sails Race Week.
The Yacht Club Challenge Trophy will be presented to the yacht club whose 3 boat team has the lowest combined score during North Sails Race Week against the other yacht club teams competing for the trophy.
The format will be as follows:
* A yacht club may enter up to 3 individual teams. Each team entered is a separate entity unto itself. There must be a 12 second per mile or greater rating difference between team members racing in the same class. Class breakdowns will be announced June 16th.
* Each yacht club entering the Yacht Club Challenge must declare its 3 boat team(s) by June 20th. (No substitutions after this date except for an emergency situation, with the Race Committee's approval.)
* The skipper of each yacht on the team(s) must be a member of the yacht club they are representing.
* The yacht club with the lowest cumulative combined score of its three boat team shall be the winner. In case of a tie on points, the winner shall be the club who has the lowest combined score in the final race.
