Notice and Conditions of Race
March 10 - 13, 2005
Miami, Florida USA
Acura Miami Race Week 2005 is an international regatta that
will provide both one design and handicap racing. This event will
be organized and conducted by Premiere Racing, Inc., which will
have the authority to reject or rescind the entry of any boat
before the start of the first race.
The fleet will be divided into divisions and classes at the
discretion of the Race Committee. Part 1 of this Notice deals with
general administrative information and Part 2 with the Rules and
Conditions of Race Week.

This is a dual venue event with two separate racing areas and
headquarters.
The Ocean divisions include PHRF 1 - 4, Transpac 52, Farr 40, Mumm
30 and J/105s. Headquarters is at the Miami Beach Marina.
The Biscayne Bay division includes Melges 24, Etchells, J/24 and
PHRF 5. Headquarters is at the Shake-A-Leg facility in Coconut
Grove. |

(1) Post Race Social times are
approximate. The post-racing, afternoon social will take place at
both the Ocean and Bay venues immediately following racing.
(2) The South Beach Regatta
Rendezvous will provide a fun venue for both Ocean and Biscayne
Bay participants to get together in the heart of South Beach. Event
will include cocktails, hors d'oeurves, race video, raffle prizes and
other regatta related entertainment.

Sunday's Post Race Social
will take place at the Miami Beach Marina for all classes
immediately following racing.
The Awards
Presentation for all classes will begin at the Miami Beach Marina
as soon as practical following racing - when competitors from all
three divisions can be in attendance.
