TRAVEL TIP: Sea Coast Airlines has 3 or 4 seats left on a flight to Key West on Friday the 14th at 1400 hrs, and return on Friday the 21st at 1600 hrs.  The flight goes between the private terminal in Clearwater and the private terminal in Key West.  They ask that you check in only 30 minutes before the flight, and they are giving us a 25% discount if booked before the 24th.  That makes the cost $149 going down, and $93 coming back. If anyone wants to join the current charter, call Brianna or Tracy at 727-507-8582 and tell them they want to be on one of these flights.

For those boat owners who wish to compete in Key West, there are excellent options in both old town Key West and on Stock Island. Read more in the marinas section

South Florida marinas are viable options for "big boat" launch and haul. We verify and update all marina and boat yard information often as we can and will do our best to keep you apprised of any developments.

Individuals should contact the FDOT permit office (see below) directly regarding current travel/permit status for their particular transit times and dates as the situation is subject to change on short notice. Please be advised of the following permit requirements and be sure to make your arrangements as soon as reasonably possible.

Trailer basics:

 -  8'6" and under do not require a permit

 -  over 8'6" wide a load permit is required
