the Wilmington River, three miles southeast of Savannah, GA
at Intracoastal Waterway Marker #35 (ICW Mile #583). No
bridges between the yard and the Atlantic.

Thunderbolt offers service and repair operations to yachts
up to 200 ft., with haul out capabilities of 1,150 tons by
Syncrolift and 160 tons by Marine Travelift.

of hauling vessels with up to a 14' draft

Yard
facilities include a full service marina, precision cabinet,
electrical, electronic, joiner, machine, paint and weld
shops and several large buildings for marine coatings and
other work requiring an enclosed environment. Thunderbolt
Marine’s skilled craftsmen accomplish major refits of sail
and power vessels to the highest standards and in accordance
with all classification society requirements.

include housing assistance, travel, transportation,
