Dear Media Representative:
Key West 2005 is shaping up to be another premier event in the world
of sailboat racing. Entries and class projections are strong and
point to another 300+ boat fleet. Last years fleet of 302 boats
from around the world and across the United States provided great
competition on the water
and great stories and visuals for all.
We are very pleased that Rich Roberts is once again heading up our
media center and program.
Whether you will be on site, or are covering the event from your
home base, we hope you will register in advance and update our
records. You may register via email or complete and return the form
below via fax or mail.
We will be emailing press releases each night summarizing the day's
racing, and complete results and standings will be posted each night
at Premiere-Racing.com.
Royalty-free, high-resolution photos suitable for print reproduction
will be available upon request by email to accredited publications.
Below is a one-page summary of information to help you plan your

Media representatives and photographers desiring to cover the event
on the water are encouraged to make their own arrangements for boats
or charters. Premiere Racing has limited space onboard media boats
for photographers and journalists and will make best efforts to
accommodate all requests.
The following guidelines are in place for access to the event
media boats:
Requests will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis and
apply to only one day at a time, although any single day may be
selected in advance. Those unable to be accommodated on a day they
select will be placed at the top of the list for the next day they
prefer.
We ask that you provide credentials or details from your publication
or project. Requests from photographers and journalists who are not
on assignment cannot be accommodated. Premiere Racing is not
responsible for lunches, drinks or wet weather gear. Best efforts
will be made to accommodate requests from photographers and

regarding courses viewed rests with the onboard Premiere Racing
representative.

needed basis in the event of an emergency, or to assist other race
committee boats.
