Key West - Industry Partner Program
PROGRAM BENEFITS AND VALUE
Primary Benefit:
This program plays a significant role in ensuring that this major international event continues.
The Performance Sailing Industry Partner program was conceived as a way to provide needed financial stability for "Key West Race Week".
Partner Exposure and Visibility:
Additional value comes through Premiere Racing's commitment to promote participating companies and ensure that the racing yacht owner is fully aware of the Industry Partner Program and it's importance to the long-term viability of the event.
Yacht owners are encouraged to patronize those companies participating in the program. The exposure your company gets and the prominence and size of your logo will be based on participation level. Client awareness will be achieved as follows:
* Industry Partner acknowledgement, with company logos, in each of the following Race Week publications:
Official Notice & Conditions of Race (August) 3,500
Countdown To Key West Magazine (October) 4,000
Sailing Instructions (January) 2,500
Race Week News (January) 1,500 x 6 issues
Results Package (February) 500
* Editorial articles
with program description and details in the Countdown to Key West Magazine and Race Week Newspaper
* Industry Partner Program logo page mailed with each entry acknowledgement
* Acknowledgement of the Industry Program at the Skipper's Meeting and inserts in the Skippers' Registration packages
* Acknowledgement of the Industry Program at the Nightly Awards
* Prominent Logo signage on site in Key West (e.g. logo banners)
Web Site Exposure:
The Race Week Web Site index page contains a banner of all Partner Logos with individual links. There is also an expanded section with more information on the program and its participants.
Media Releases:
Media releases mention the program and highlight its importance.
Advertising Discounts & Access Cards:
Advertising in Race Week publications will be discounted based on level of participation and shoreside access cards will be provided:
PLATINUM: Advertising Discount and Access Cards per sponsor agreement
GOLD: Ad discount: 15% Cards: 5
SILVER: Ad discount: 10% Cards: 3
BRONZE: Ad discount: 5% Cards: 2
Corporate Hospitality / Exhibit Space:
PLATINUM, GOLD and SILVER level partners will have the ability to participate on-site in a corporate hospitality and exhibit area immediately adjacent to the reception tent (space is limited and available to returning participants first). Current details and costs associated with the on-site program can be found in Section VI. Snacks, beer and soft drinks will be served in the Hospitality Area during the 6 evenings at race week beginning at 5:00 PM - one hour earlier than the reception tent.
Additional Benefits:
Premiere Racing has and will actively pursue additional opportunities to publicize participating companies and the importance of the program. Two examples in 2003 were full-page color advertisements run in both SAIL and Seahorse magazines.

Above and Beyond the Agreement
There were substantial efforts made to provide benefits and value above and beyond those outlined in the Agreement. The items listed below are some examples:
1. Full-page Industry Partner advertisements - dramatic visual with all Partner logos (shown earlier)
* in SAIL Magazine - right hand placement / front of book (February issue)
* in Seahorse Magazine - inside back cover (February & March issues), including all Partner logos
2. On Site Logo and Banner Visibility
* Six over-sized, full color Industry Partner banners (6' x 8.5') with each Partner's logo. Displayed in the Industry Partner Area and elsewhere on the site.
* Video Logo Displays - displayed all Industry Partner logos (banner format) on the 4 televisions and oversized screen under the reception tent during the awards ceremonies and with the racing footage
* Signage and Banners - offered space in the Partner Area for individual company banners for those Partners not participating on site
3. Increased "Perks" in 2003
* the Partner advertising discount increased to: Gold 15% / Silver 10% / Bronze 5%
* the number of Access Cards increased to: Gold 5 / Silver 3 / Bronze 2
4. Recognition
* Designated Day - Saturday prior to racing was designated "Industry Partner Day' (in the Sailing Instructions, schedules, on the web site, etc.)
* Nightly announcements on stage recognizing the program during the awards presentation
5. Print and Media Exposure
* Releases - Industry Partner Program was acknowledged in each of the 11 releases
* Full page Partner ad in two locations in the Results Package
* Two full page Partner advertisements in the Race Week News (Wed and Sat Issues)
6. Hospitality / Exhibit Area Upgrades
* Moved important shoreside components immediately adjacent to the Industry Partner Area (Race Office, Jury Office, Official Notice & Scoreboard, Crew Weigh-Ins)
* Hors d'oeuvres served in IPP Hospitality area immediately following the Skipper's Meeting, driving traffic to that area on the Sunday prior to racing
* Snacks, popcorn, beer and soda served in the Hospitality Area for 6 evenings beginning at 5:00, one hour prior to the reception tent being open
* Upgraded power and lighting fixtures in Hospitality and Exhibit Area
