sales coming up this Spring. ALL winch handles will be on

winches that don't quite deliver with a 10" or 8" One Touch.
It will make your trimmers a LOT happier!

winch handle and I used it all season on the S2 7.9 on which

boat the 8" works great, has never failed to release when I
press the large One Touch area, and has been strong enough
to keep me on the boat when I needed it.

PHRF-2 had Man-owar around first, Grateful Red last.
J80's -
Relentless around first, Willy T last.
1319H:
The water is definitely flatter on the upwind area. It is
much nicer and keeps me from sliding all over as I type.
1316H:
Winds are shifting from 350-330. Contemplating course
change, but keeps shifting, then holding, then shifting.
Tough call for PRO.
Boats are
using both sides of the gates. Winds are 325 and 330, so
things are nice.
1311H:
17 knots and 320 for the winds. Started kicking up during

Wairere had problems with their chute drop.
1114H:
Tangent was around first up top
So the second row start was not a hindrance; they headed
right and took off.
1107H:
As usual there was a lot of "competitor coaching" during the
starts.
First J80 - 19 - Rumor is around the top end.
1106H:
Squall has passed through and the wind is shifting from 315
and 340 and from 8-14 k wind.

end had the better line on clear air.
PHRF-3: Everyone got hit with a shift to hold them off of
the line. Mother Ocean and L'Outrage were sitting together.
Tangent and Seefest had the second row.
PHRF-4: Elysium was still out first as the squal hit during
the last final minute.
XS broke below the spreader level; person in water to free
the sails from the mast. Tenders are standing by. All crew
are okay.
XS was close to the weather mark when the mast went.
1059H:

holding, shifting right, not holding, shifting, shifting
back, boats are all over.
Boat just lost a mast - 41204 - XS
On the starts, here are the highlights:
PHRF-1: Kali and Wairere got thrown over the line and had to
pay the price of coming back.

0941H:
Sun has peaked out from the clouds. Shining brightly on the
glorious turquoise blue water.
0938H:
We are setting up .5 mile south; looking for squal at around
10:30; expect wind to go right. We have the whole Stock
Island area in which to play to adjust for the wind change.
0936H:
Seeing 330-335 at 10 knots at our weather boat, About 1.5'
swells; reasonably flat.
0928H:
Credit for yesterday's second race finishes goes to Mark
McBride, an RC guy from just outside of Marblehead. I can't
take photos then, cause I am Just a Little Busy.
0920H:
Today is Sperry day. Talk with Alice and ask out the Cabo
men's shoe at the booth.
They come in two colors. One bowman who wears them says it
makes him feel like Spiderman due to its great sticky sole.
0918H:
Currently the
water is flat as we travel up to Stock Island area. There is
a cloud layer, but it is thin enough to let the sun through.
For RC, it is a shorts and polo shirt day; for the racers,
it still could be wet and getting wetter as the day
progresses.
